Directions from Ottawa: Take Highway #417 east to the 417/174 split, continue east towards Orleans on Highway #174. After the Place D'Orleans Mall exit on Trim Road. Follow Trim Road north to Petrie Island. Entrance to the ice is located just after the Petrie Island Bait and Tackle shop.

If you don't like using the portapottie provided by the good people at Petrie Island Bait and Tackle, try Mr. Gaz! on Trim Road, just on the other side of Highway 17 from Petrie Island Bait and Tackle. People say that this place has the best public restrooms this side of Ottawa!
As well as the great facilities, you can stock up on drinks and snacks, and as the name implies, you can buy gas, too!
